Hey, I am male, 51 years old and live in Berlin, Germany. I love the wilderness and do mainly self arranged backpacking outdoor trips.
I am looking for travel buddies for two different projects:
-This august. Any gender and age. Hiking in the highlands of Guinea (Conakry). During the last summer I did a canoe trip in a dugout in neighbouring Guinea Bissau. My friend continued to the next county and sent me amazing pictures. The highland is huge, does not has any tourists visiting but offers great landscape. Time: two to four weeks.
-Instead of the first project or at a later time. Any gender and age: A canoe trip down the snake or wind river in Canadas Yukon Territory. In 2022 I went down neighbouring Hart and Peel rivers from Elliot lake to Fort McPherson in over a month solo. So I know from experience, that this is a once in a lifetime experience, which I wont to have twice....:-D This is real, untouched wilderness. This second trip is more demanding, than the first and requires an experienced or at least very determined person. Time: two to four weeks.
In addition I am always looking for experienced expeditionists for future projects. I have done a couple of hundred trips so far. From joining missionaries in Papua New Guinea at the upper Sepik, to working for an expedition as a Polar Bear Guard in Greenland to crossing the Darien Gap. I have other ideas than the above mentioned. But I am also openminded to your suggestions.
The three pictures show: me, fishing in Kamtschatka, the Highland of Guinea as seen by my friend and one picture of the previous Yukon trip.
Lets do it! I hope to hear from you soon.
