The Idea - I want to expand the tough girl YouTube channel and produce regular video content.
At the moment with producing the podcast - it’s super hard to do, I also only have very basic skills in video editing and it’s something I’d love to improve on but it’s not my passion or where my interest are.
What I’m looking for:
I would love to connect with someone whose passion is video editing, they love working behind the scenes and using their creativity to produce awesome and engaging video content.
They are self motivated and love working for themselves.
They generally prefer working behind the computer and have an interest in adventure and the outdoors.
How I think it would work.
I would be looking at an equal 50:50 income split with the Adsense revenue created from the tough girl YouTube channel.
At the moment the YouTube channel isn’t making any money, but I think It has huge amounts of potential- especially if high quality content was being released on a regular basis.
I think this could be a fantastic opportunity to do something your passionate about and earn income from it.
Other info:
There are 3k subscribers at the moment
No video content has been produced since February 2020
Your role
Creativity behind how the videos are put together
Editing the videos/vlogs
Choosing the music
creating play lists
Deciding on the title
Creating a thumbnail
Uploading the content to YouTube
Basically everything on the backend of production
My role
Doing the adventure/challenges
Filming the adventures (open to receiving feedback on what type of shots would work best and how you would like things to be filmed)
Uploading raw video footage to Dropbox
Marketing and promoting the edited videos on the other tough girl social media channels (including in the podcast)
One of the key things I’m looking for is consistency. And being able to produce content on a regular basis - especially while I’m out on challenges.
At the moment I’m mainly thinking about the daily vlogs for challenges.
But other ideas in the future could include:
Short films - (enter film competitions)
Longer form documentary
Trailer for the channel
Trailers for the different adventure series
Other types of video - eg gear reviews, q&a videos, how to video etc
I’m open to all video ideas. I have a few ideas, but the challenge for me is I don’t have the editing skills to bring the videos ideas to life. But I would be able to film the content and film the B roll footage needed to make them.
If you are someone who is wanting to collaborate and work to build up the brand on YouTube - I think there would be a lot of potential to grow the subscribers, gain views and earn income from the platform
If this is you or you know someone who would be a good fit - please send me a DM or an e-mail sarah@toughgirlchallenges.com and I’ll arrange a time for us to speak and we can take it from there.
