Brad Parsk seeking expedition partners for a potential expedition to the Peruvian Amazon
Hopefully you will have at least one of the following qualities:
Medic
Navigation expert
Logistics specialist
Spanish speaker
PR / fundraising
All must be physically and mentally fit. We will be pushing well outside our comfort zone and this will not be an easy expedition.
Please note: this is not a paid position, and in fact we would probably benefit from gaining financial sponsorship from a business or company prior to launching out (if possible) as I anticipate the expenditures to be considerable.
The proposed goals of the expedition would be threefold:
1. Firstly, to visit and experience already known Inca sites upon arrival (such as Machu Picchu).
2. Launch a search for Paititi in the Peruvian Amazon, which legend says is roughly 10 days hike east of Cuzco. We will take a logical approach to this search. I am currently in talks with others who have searched, as well as those who have undertaken years of research on this subject, and I am hoping to consolidate all this information to create a plan.
3. To meet with local indigenous tribes, and experience their way of life.
Anticipated duration of expedition: 6 - 16 weeks.
Start date: Late 2022 / Early 2023
