What did you do for Britain's national day - and night - of adventure?
We had an amazing night. I arranged for 15 of my friends to come and camp in a field that my dad owns. It’s not near any houses and most of my friends had never camped. There was good bonding helping each other put up new tents, bbq, etc.
What went right?
It’s been so dry that we couldn’t have a camp fire but we made do with marshmallows on the bbq instead! I haven’t arranged anything like this for years, but seeing Wild Night Out made me decide to get everyone together. It’s so hard to get groups of people together nowadays so having a set day was ideal inspiration! Everyone loved it and we aim to do it more regularly now
Any memorable moments?
Most memorable moment was full moon chasing! This involved crossing various electric fences to get the best view!
