Hi, my name is Kate and I'm 35. I live and work in Cambridge as a nurse, but my heart is in adventure travel. I recently returned from a 16 month trip, where I hiked/cycled around various countries, and made me only passionate to do more. While working now, I'm always planning another trip, a short one this time, and looking on here to see if anyone is interested in joining. I'm going to Myanmar from January 22nd to February 11th. Due to the military restrictions in the country it's not possible to camp, or stay with locals, so I'm planning a route. I fly into Yangon and plan to cycle from Heho around Inle lake, up to Mandalay. Then I plan to go to Hsipaw in the North-East to hike for a few days, return to Mandalay, go by boat toward Bagan and then cycle for another week, catching a plane to the coast and returning to Yangon via a stretch of the coast. If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know. My flight cost 470, and I plan not to spend more than 1000, although maybe less - I haven't yet budgeted for the trip...but cheap accommodation in Myanmar costs $20-30 dollars a night
