Sun, sea and cycling!! I am planning tocycle unsupported from Dieppe to Caen this summer, and thought it would be worth posting on Explorers Connect to see if anyone is daft enough to want to join! I couldn't think of a better way to explore this beautiful bit of coast while not breaking the bank. And hopefully it will be warmer that the last time I tried something so stupid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6LPhcAokk0 Plan 12th July - Ferry (9am depart) from Newhaven toDieppe, 25/30 foot passanger. 13th - 18th July - Walk, jog, run, skip, crawl from Dieppe to Caen! 19th July - Ferry (8:30 depart) from Caen to Portsmouth 25/30 foot passanger. Supplies Bicycle, food, water, tent, sleeping bag, book, kitchen sinkand any other necessities people might wantmust be carried, as I have no plans to have any support crew on this challenge. I will be bringing the bare minimum as I don't fancy carrying too much weight. Distance 200km/125miles
