Hi I am wanting a buddy to do a trip next Aug and Sept 2023 hiking across the Scootish Highlands.
I do not want to use my car but as and when necessary/possible will use public transport to get to places I want to hike/visit. I have a number of munros I'd like to climb and will be travelling as light as possible.
I will be starting on the night sleeper from the South of England and then setting off on foot, camping, bothying and maybe the occasional bnb. With only a rough itinerary, I want it to be an adventure that will evolve as I go. Although I have a rough plan I don't want to set in stone my route but prefer to be able to work it out with my buddy as we go long. I might learn about new places that I dont even know yet!!
I am a Mountain leader, climber, mountain biker and caver.
Happy to give most activities a go but I'm not an adrenaline junkie. I have done many trips/ expeditions around the world but for this trip will prefer to keep things simple and have some fun day to day.
