Hello, I'm planning a sailing expedition from my home on Ilhabela, on the Sao Paulo Coast of Brazil to Maine, USA aboard my family's 45 foot high latitude sail boat by designated by Thierry Stump.
The boat will be crewed by my wife, my daughter and myself and we'll be sailing a reverse voyage of the one that brought us here aboard a 22 foot, Bristol Sloop in 1995. We have recently acquired the vessel and are in the process of preparing her for departure in early May.
The voyage will consist of various "legs", including the Brazilian Coast, the Guiana /Surinam Coast ( including a stop at the famous Devil's Island). Then Tobago, the Grenadines and the entire Caribbean Chain. We'll be sailing the north Coast of Hispaniola and crossing the Windward Passage to the Bahamas after which, we'll sail the entire east coast from Florida to Portland, Maine, the starting point of our original voyage 25 years ago. We have 4 available bunks in two cabins available (the boat Sleeps 7).
We're hoping to find willing, but not necessarily knowledgeable crew to share adventure and expenses
