My name is Ken and in March this year I will be attempting to cross the Wahiba Sands desert in Oman by foot (West to East). I am looking for intrepid team-mates who would be interested in a 7-10 day adventure to join me on this trip. Camel markets, Bedouin camps, pitching tents in the desert under a starry sky are just some of the things I am anticipating.
In terms of people, it would be great if you have someone adventure travel experience, especially if you are used to desert environments, although this isn’t essential. A reasonable level of fitness and health will be required though as there will be several days of trekking involved across desert sand dunes in hot temperatures.
One thing that would be particularly handy would be video skills – I will be filming the whole trip so having someone else on board with even basic camera skills would be really good.
