What would you do if you were given a plot of land in the Last Frontier? Could you realise the potential of creating a livelihood and living off the land?
The Claim will see between 6-8 couples from the UK being taught and tested about living in the wild and learning what the land has to offer. Ultimately one lucky couple deemed the most suitable and with the best potential will be given their own piece of The Last Frontier by its current owners. In order to find a worthy and capable couple to take over the plot we are looking for people who can work with the land, embrace the environment and plan it’s future. This may be a business idea, a retreat, on-going environmental concern etc. We are looking for people who will continue – or create – a legacy for this unique piece of wilderness.
We are looking for a wide range of people to apply – they don’t necessarily need experience of life in the wild - all we are looking for is people with a thirst for adventure and a desire to live off-grid in the wilderness. We are filming the series for up to four weeks in Spring 2019. Due to the nature of the project we are looking for people to apply with at least one other person. Whether that be a romantic partner, a very close friend or relative, or a small family group - all applicants must be over 18.
