Join a TeamBelinda KirkComment

Between September and December I will be swimming solo and non-stop between the major Balearic Islands and mainland Spain.

This will be an extreme feat of endurance and has never been attempted before.I am looking for volunteers to provide support for my training, which I am undertaking primarily in Mallorca, Spain, but also in the UK during August 2016. Volunteers are required in Colonia Sant Jordi in south east Mallorca from mid-July where my training base is located.Board and lodging will be provided for volunteers with the right skills and experience but there is currently no budget to cover travel costs and other incidentals. I'm looking for experienced kayakers (with plenty of sea kayaking experience) and RIB drivers (preferably with minimum RYA Powerboat Level 2 ticket). Preferably also with first aid skills and VHF licence. RIB and 4.7 metre Touryak sea kayak and all kit and safety equipment provided. Social media and photography/videography skills would also be very useful.Id love to hear from people who are willing to get stuck in and support me while I train in all conditions at some very strange hours.A good sense of humour is vital.

Our team motto is nothing hard is easy and you will soon find out why! Im going to be raising lots of money and awareness for Balearic marine-related charities and its going to be a great adventure so if you are interested in getting involved drop me a line to find out more.To view a short promo video about my Balearic Swim Challenge click here:https://vimeo.com/131750612Like our Facebook page to get the latest updates:https://www.facebook.com/AnnaWardleyEnduranceSwimmer.
