Raleigh International, a sustainable development charity, is recruiting volunteer managers to lead expeditions that will drive positive change in vulnerable environments and poor rural communities.Raleigh believes that for development to be sustainable young people need to have an active role, but we know that this is only possible with the support and inspiration supplied by our volunteer manager teams.We are currently recruiting passionate people aged 25 - 75 to join these teams in Costa Rica Nicaragua, Borneo and Tanzania. We have a wide range of roles available to suit different skills sets; from organising operations from our permanent country bases, known as fieldbase, to managing volunteer teams on one of our remote sites to deliver an impactful and worthwhile project. Roles available in 2014 include: Logistics Manager and Coordinators Photographer Artist Videographer Communications Manager Medics Administrator Project Manager Spanish interpreter (Costa Rica Nicaragua only) Adventure Mountain LeaderExpeditions last 8 or 13 weeks in length and in that time you could be supporting scientists research in the heart of unexplored rainforests, writing engaging and informative blog posts about progress in-country or bringing a safe water supply to a rural community you are also living with.
