You need to be healthy capable of longs days trekking. Ideally you will have experience on a mountain over 4,000m and previous experience using ice-axes and crampons would be very beneficial although training will be provided. You will also need a sense of adventure (and humour). How hard will the route be?

It's unclimbed so we don't really know and factors like the weather will effect us. However we have 5 peaks to pick from and a strong team. Plus we'll be fixing technical sections to make them accessible to the whole team. How much will I need to carry? You will need to carry everything you need for that day. We will use local porters to carry the bulk of your kit allowing you to complete the long days of trekking (on the way down). That said don't bring anything that you don't need. We'll send out a kit list later. Visas Visas's can be picked up on arrival using most major currencies. The fee is $40 for 30 days. It's easiest to pay in dollars and you will need a passport photo and a pen. To secure your place you will need to pay a 400 deposit and fill in the medical, sign the booking conditions and acceptance of risk forms. Not included Personnel kit, alcoholic and soft drinks, compulsory insurance (that covers the mountaineering up to 6,500m) and tips for local staff. Included In country flight, food whilst on the expedition, tea and water. International flight Book a flight that fits in with the above itinerary building in extra days if you can or booking a flight that is easy to change is a good idea. As whilst we'll try hard to keep to the itinerary where working in a very remote environment with lots of variables a washed out road for example could add days.

Costs 2,000 (includes in-country flights) For more information contact Philip@expeditioncompany.co.uk
