Hi all, Im planning to hike the length of Hadrians wall over the Xmas holidays, Starting on 26th December 2014 (Boxing day) At Wallsend (Newcastle) and aiming to finish on the 31st December in Bowness on Solway. I will be getting the train into Newcastle on the 26th and starting the walk around midday and be returning on the train from Carlisle mid afternoon on the 31st. Planning to carry all kit and food and camp/wild camp at various places along route. I know its Xmas and not ideal for most people, but im taking advantage of days off work to do something i love..
