In January, 2010, ADM Exploration Team members Brett Hemphill and Mike Young found a unique piece of Maya pottery deep below a small well in central Yucatan, a stirrup handled pot long lost to civilisation.
That piece of pottery has become quite a sensation in the world of Maya studies and archaeology. Interestingly, the cave and the artefact were found on the last dive of the last day of our expedition to discover and explore the cenotes of Central Yucatan.
