I am currently planning a climbing expedition to Fox Jaw Cirque, East Greenland during the summer of 2014. With towering Arctic granite walls and stunning fjords in this amazing part of the world, it is certainly an adventure not to be missed. With the vast amount of rock face that makes up the Fox Jaw Cirque, the objective is to make several First Ascents going fast and light. The expedition will consist of six climbers pushing their limits of physical ability and mental strength for an extended period of six weeks. Departing the UK around the 4th July, and stay overnight in Iceland before flying to Kulusuk. We will spend 2 days prepping in Kulusuk before heading up the Angmagssalik Fjord to the drop off point for a 4-6 hour walk-in to the Fox Jaw Cirque base camp. The planned returned date for the trip is 17th August which allows for a couple of days in Icleand for re-adjusting back into civilisation. This allows for five weeks of climb time, which I strongly believe will allow the team sufficient time to achieve new routing and exploration in the area, taking into account the possibility of some poor weather.
