A small group will depart Arusha, Tanzania on Sunday December 22nd for an eight day climb of Kilimanjaro using the Lemosho route.
While a bit more challenging than some of the other routes up Kilimanjaro every guide we have ever asked has indicated it is the most diverse and their favourite. The climb will be followed by a five day safari on the Serengeti. The trip is being led by avid adventurer, Michael Hurry. Michael has taken groups on treks around the world including several to Africa, Nepal, Argentina and the Arctic.
These groups have ranged in size from as small as 5 to as large as 43. Michael has personally climbed Mount Kenya, Mount Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Denali and Everest. On the ground in Tanzania the arrangements are being organized by Duma Explorers www.dumaexplorer.com
