Looking for 1 or 2 climbers for Chile/Argentina OJOS DEL SALADO to attempt to locate and measure highest lake in the world. The expedition should last maximum 25 days between November 17th and 11th of December to allow enough time to explore the mountain and acclimatize. This is not guided, I have little climbing experience so people who climbed Aconcagua or above 6000m peak welcome. Objectives 1) Adventure: Try to find the lake in this mountain and desert environment. An attempt to summit the mountain is also foreseen. If the lake is not found, the expedition would have brought the information that the lake is gone or not permanent. 2) Science: Find the lake and measure all geographic aspects: surface, depth, volume estimation, perimeter, GPS location Perhaps take some water samples to analyse the minerals in it. 3) Documentary: Take film and photos for a short documentary.
