Peace Day Pilgrim is walking 1200 miles through the UK Ireland to raise awareness for Peace One Day's Global Truce 2012. Starting in Derry/Londonderry on 21 June 2012 the walk will take in each of the five capital cities before finishing in London on 21 Sep. Peace Day Pilgrim is walking without money and relying on the kindness of strangers for food and shelter. This means that the success of the journey relies on the same human spirit that will make Global Truce 2012 (UN Peace Day) a success.
