Starting in June 2012 I will solo paddle the 1226 mile Trail of Tears Water Route. My journey will begin in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA on the Tennessee river. It will continue on the Ohio, Mississippi, and Arkansas rivers ending in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, USA.
This water route was taken by some 2,800 Cherokee, who travelled these rivers following their forced removal to Indian Territory in Oklahoma, USA. Trip is being filmed for documentary.
