Adventure Mind Bursaries 2023
Bursary information: Adventure Mind 2023
We are excited to be able to offer 10 funded places for Adventure Mind 2023.
Funding of up to £450 per person is available to cover the cost of registration (including meals), accommodation and travel to and from the conference. Bursaries are designed to support people to attend who otherwise wouldn’t be able to for financial reasons.
We would especially like to support the following groups:
Individuals from minority groups traditionally under-represented in adventure work
Young people just starting out in the field of adventure for wellbeing
Individuals volunteering for or working for small charities whose work is relevant but who do not have access to funding to attend
Interested individuals are asked to complete a short application form (see below) by 31st July. Applications will be assessed by a panel and the recipients chosen according to criteria (see below). Successful applicants will be informed by 8th September and will be expected to finalise bookings, including travel arrangements by the 30th September 2023.
The funding for these places comes from a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship, awarded to Prof. Helen Dodd at the University of Exeter.
